Home & Hostess
A gracious Home and Hostess combine to make your stay in Victoria a memorable one! Joan herself is very personable and warm, she is happy to give you the grand tour of her stunning mansion.
Beamed ceilings, highlighted with ornate plasterwork, seven fireplaces, elegantly furnished rooms, will take you back to the life of late 1800’s high society. A setting in which you will immediately feel welcome and comfortable.
This lovely home was built for a former Provincial Lieutenant Governor, E.G. Prior. You will be located less than five minutes from the centre of town, from ocean beach vistas, and beacon hill park. The house is also located only two blocks from Craigdarroch Castle and Government House.
Upstairs you will be shown to your room or suite with it’s lovely view of the gardened grounds and the surrounding beauty of the renowned Rockland District lined with mansions.
Victoria… It’s More Than That.
It’s still one of the most British cities in North America, but there’s more to Victoria than tearooms, antique shops and galleries (though there are plenty of those). Driven by the younger generation, the city has sprouted a collection of cool shops, authentic coffee bars and unique restaurants. It also has more cycling routes than any other Canadian city, providing access to most areas to the city. In Victoria you will find some of the most unique and beautiful scenes in BC.
