Directions
If you are coming to Victoria from Seattle or Washington State,
you have numerous options by air or ferry. By air, you can fly
from SeaTac to Victoria International Airport on many regularly
scheduled flights. It is also possible to take scheduled flights
from Lake Union to Victoria's Inner Harbour. Helijet, North
America's first ever transborder International scheduled helicopter
service, Helijet International Inc. links Victoria B.C. with the
Emerald City of Seattle, Washington.. By ferry, you can drive
north to Tsawwassen, Canada and enjoy one of North America's most
scenic routes on the highly esteemed
BC Ferries. Reservations can be made but are not required.
There is also a ferry service from Port Angeles on the Olympic Peninsula
to Victoria's Inner Harbour.
If you are coming to Victoria from Vancouver, B.C., you also have
options by air or ferry.
By air, you can fly the scenic Harbour to Harbour route
(Vancouver-Victoria) either by Harbour Air's float planes or by modern,
high-speed Helijet. You can also fly from many Canadian Airports
directly to Victoria International Airport. By ferry, drive south
of Vancouver to Tsawwassen for the scenic 1 hour 35 minute cruise to
Swartz Bay, 30 minutes from downtown Victoria.
Once in Victoria,
you will find Joan Brown's B&B just blocks from the downtown centre.
Head east on Fort Street to Pemberton Road (a right hand turn) and proceed for
two blocks. Alternately, take the scenic route past grand historic
mansions and Government House along Rockland Avenue, turning left on to
Pemberton Road opposite the second gate of Government House.
